Grovenor Resources' 1st Base Metals mining operation was set up in the Democrtic Republic of Congo in 2006 by Mr John Kalenga & M&J Investments SPRL, made up of UK based partners.
The partners formed the company in Congo for the identification and exploitation of abundant base metals mining opportunities specifically for Copper and Cobalt

Development

The company was able to obtain a mining concession after completion of Geological surveys for copper and cobalt at the Nimura hill in Luambo, 20km North east of Likasi Town,. in the Province of the DR Congo

Processing

M&J Investments then proceeded to invest in a full complement of mining equipment for open cast mining operations at the Nimura Hill concession.

The Company recruited over 150 Professionals and Employees from DRC, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana & South Africa for its African operations.
